Dr. Charles HATEGEKIMANA

Scientific and Committee Member

Dr. Charles HATEGEKIMANA is an experienced Rwandan academic and lecturer at the Adventist University of Central Africa (AUCA). With advanced degrees from German institutions and many years of teaching experience, he plays an important role in educating and mentoring university students in Rwanda and beyond. Dr. HATEGEKIMANA also participates in a number of non-academic activities which promote the development of the country, the continent and the globe at large. His research interests fall under the domain of social sciences, mainly development sociology and politics.

Dr. Dan IMANIRIHO

Scientific and Committee Member

Dr. Dan IMANIRIHO is a lecturer and researcher with experience in higher education, educational administration, and academic quality assurance. He has a PhD in the field of sciences of psychology and education, a master’s in educational administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Educational psychology. He has taught at the Adventist University of Central Africa and the University of Rwanda–College of Education. He has also held senior leadership roles, including District Director of Education for Kacyiru District and Director of Quality Assurance at AUCA, overseeing policy implementation and education quality monitoring. Imaniriho Dan has contributed to several national and international research projects on education systems, language policy, social cohesion, and sustainable education, and participated in a multinational systematic review on in-service teacher education in sub-Saharan Africa.

Dr. Abias Maniragaba

Scientific and Committee Member

Dr. Abias Maniragaba is a senior researcher, consultant, and policy specialist with over 15 years of experience in environmental management, climate change, natural resource management, and environmental health. He holds a PhD in Environmental Studies (Environmental Health) from the University of Eldoret, Kenya. Dr. Maniragaba currently serves as a Project Coordinator at Transparency International Rwanda, Policy Engagement Specialist for the Inclusive Green Economy (IGE) program implemented under Rwanda’s Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the University of Cape Town, and part time Senior Lecturer at the East African University.  He previously served as Director of Research at the Rwanda Climate Change and Development Network and as Dean and Senior Lecturer at the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali. His work focuses on climate finance, environmental policy, sustainable development, and research-driven decision-making.

Hategekimana Fidele

Hategekimana Fidele is a researcher and editor specializing in the mathematical and statistical modeling of infectious diseases. He holds a PhD from Jani University, India. His research focuses on the development and application of models to understand disease transmission dynamics, evaluate intervention strategies, and inform public health decision‑making. He has contributed to research articles and technical reports and has experience in editing and refining manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals to enhance methodological rigor, clarity, and scientific coherence. Furthermore, he was an active part-time lecturer in pure and applied mathematics, covering Multivariable Analysis, Differential Equations, Functional Analysis, and Complex Analysis, at the University of Rwanda, College of Education, Rukara campus.
