CHAIRMAN BOT’S MESSAGE
It is with my deepest joy and pleasure to welcome you on this 25th day of May 2023 at our 4thGraduation Ceremony being held here at Nyagatare Main Campus. In a special way I wish to welcome our Chief Guest who kindly agreed to grace this auspicious occasion. In the same breadth, I also welcome in a big way the Chancellor Hon. Prof.Mondo Kagonyera wo will be presiding over this colorful congregation. That said I am not oblivious to welcoming the vital group, the graduands and all our parents, guardians, and all members of East African University Rwanda (EAUR) family.
Allow me also to salute our special Guest and all Members of Kampala University team and the BDK Universities Network International. May I also take this occasion to thank the Chief Executive Director of the BOT Madam Jolly Shubaiha Kateregga, the Council, Senate and the students’ Guild for providing mature leadership and guidance and for affording very good and positive academic and social programmes for the development of our University. On this day, I wish in a very special way, to congratulate the 2023 graduating class and all alumni of East African University Rwanda for their exemplary performance both within and outside our Institution. It is my honest duty to urge you to continue with this spirit as you live your future lives for the sake of others in your home nations and indeed the world beyond.
I would like to commend the Government of Rwanda and all the agencies and organizations that have taken on our students for internship purposes as we skill them and prepare them for the tasks ahead. We further applaud our many employers for retaining our students after internship and employing them once they have completed their studies. As we celebrate this milestone, I wish to remind this convocation that from our experience students who graduate from this Institution (EAUR) are always exemplary in performance and character and will always keep on Striving for Excellence wherever they go.
Last but not least, let me once again remind our new graduates that from now on, you have started your journey in life. We encourage you to be our Ambassadors wherever you go. Go yonder and be the vanguards of change in your communities. Finally, I commend you to the care and protection of the Almighty, the most merciful, most compassionate and loving.
